Kharkiv National University of Air Forces
The Kharkiv National University of Air Forces is a multidisciplinary higher education institution with highly qualified scientific and pedagogical potential, modern material base and developed infrastructure.
The main activity of the Institute is the training of aviation specialists, including pilots.
The graduates of the Institute receive the diploma - pilot-bachelor-flight (aircraft operation) with the receipt of the certificate of the pilot of the commercial aviation (CPL) of the aircraft and the helicopter.
As part of the training, the student receives a full theoretical training course in CPL+ IR aircraft and helicopter and additional training courses ME - Multi-engine, MPL- Multi-Pilot Crew License.
Students are trained under the European Aviation Training System.
Theoretical training is provided in equipped classrooms, laboratories and simulators.
The practical part of the training (flights) is carried out on certified aircraft, helicopters and exercise equipment. The airport has all the necessary infrastructure for flights and rest. Training is provided in accordance with PART-FCL rules and ICAO standards.
Flight studying is conducted in two phases:
• In the program of the pilot of the aircraft (helicopter) PPL total flight time -45 hours.
• According to the program of the pilot of the aircraft (helicopter) CPL total flight hours -150-180.
Basic CPL studying can be conducted on Cessna 172 R (RG), Beechcraft 76 Duchess, Diamond DA40,
Diamond DA42, Yak-18t and Enstrom 480B, Robinson R44 and MI-2 helicopters.
Additional flight training on a twin-engined aircraft (ME -Multi-Partner Engine) and as part of a multi-member crew (MPL-Multi-Acrew Pilot License) is provided in agreement with the student.
In the course of study, the student undergoes a full course in aviation English of more than 750 teachinghours and is awarded a ICAO Level 4 certificate if successfully passed.
